In part one of a four-part interview, Robert Bigelow of Bigelow Aerospace talks with MM about how UFO sightings led him to become interested in space and how he became aware of the availability of the TransHab technology which became the starting point of his expandable space station.

Mike Gold – Director of Operations for Bigelow Aerospace was recently asked about Bigelow’s involvement with UFO reports. He gives an interesting answer with some interesting expressions on his face. He mentions how he finds the subject matter very interesting. He also mentions the recent congressional hearing held regarding Earth like planets that are probably teeming with life. He mentions he cannot comment on what Bigelow Aerospace does with UFO reports. He goes on to state how he is glad that somebody is taking the reports because these are important issues that deserve serious attention.
Bigelow Aerospace is a space technology company that is known for it’s work on expandable space station modules. They are now working on space habitats for space agencies and corporate clients. They are known for their development of Genesis I, Genesis II, Beam and the BA 330. They have a long history of working for NASA. Earlier this month the Founder of Bigelow Aerospace, Robert Bigelow, announced that he is planning a real estate empire in outer space.
The Federal Aviation Administration refers its UFO reports to BAASS. Which stands for Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies. You can see the document here.
